Dandelion Wishes, Ornate Garden, Get Well Card

I found a scrap piece of the Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Ornate Garden" 12" x 12" package so I thought I'd try to create a card with it.  Here's what I ended up with.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  Old Olive would have been better!

I textured a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Flirty Flamingo card stock using the "Ornate Floral" embossing folder.  I taped this piece to the card base.

My piece of DSP measures 4" x 1-3/4".   I cut a 4-1/8" x 1-7/8" piece of Old Olive.  I actually cut the Old Olive just a hair bigger. I taped the two pieces together and then I taped the piece to the front of the card making it equal on the top, bottom and left side.

I stamped the words from the "Dandelion Wishes" set using black Memento ink.  I die cut them using the "Stitched Circle" dies.  And I die cut a scalloped circle using Old Olive card stock.  I taped those two pieces together.

I took some white Baker's twine and wrapped it around my fingers there times and taped it to the front of the card where the circle would be covering it.

I added Dimensionals to the circle and set it in place over the Baker's twine.  And the card was done. It's a quick and simple card and a good way to use those strips of DSP!!

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
