Daisy Lane Friendship Card, Stampin' Up!

I  found a fun card o Pinterest and i wanted to make it but I didn't have all the "stuff" to do it.  But I wanted to make it SO badly that I just used what I had and I think it turned out rather well.
You an see the original card here

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Crumb Cake card stock and I textured it using the "Subtle" embossing folder.

I cut a 5-1/4" piece of ribbon. I didn't have the ribbon used in the original card, so I used some Daffodil Delight retired ribbon. I thought it would pull the color of the center of the flower out more. I angled the ends and taped the ribbon to the center of the Crumb Cake piece.

I cut a "Stitched Labels" piece using Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the word "Friend" on it.  It's from the "Daisy Lane" set.  I stamped the words using black Memento ink.  I taped it to the center of the card.

I stamped two sets of small petals from the "Daisy Lane" set using Smoky Slate ink.  I punched them out using the matching punch.  I glued them together and set them aside.

I took my retired leaf punch (I'm hanging on to this punch for a while, there's no other nice leaf cluster in my stash), I punched out three using Pear Pizzazz card stock.

I added a Dimensional to the back of the flower and I set it in place on the Whisper White piece.

I added glue to the ends of the leaf pieces and slid them under the flower. I used three leaf sets for my card.

I added the "Faceted Gem" to the center of the flower.  These are not retired but I have a bunch to use up, so I'm going to be using them where I see fit.  And once those were added, the card was done.

This was a fun and quick card to make.  I was thinking of doing a "Fun and Quick" card week.

Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by today,
Wanda
