Beautiful Friendship, Dandelion Wishes, Get Well Card

I found today's card on Pinterest. You can see the original card here. I did make a couple minor changes.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.

I took the second smallest Stitched Circle die and lightly traced around the inside of it on the front of my card. I needed a guide. I didn't need to erase the circle because it was going to be hidden by the die cut circle.

I took the Bermuda Bay ink and the single rose looking flower (I don't know my flowers) and I stamped it twice around the circle.

I took the Coastal Cabana ink and stamped two more of the flowers around the circle.

Then I took the double flower buds and inked them up with Bermuda Bay, stamped off once and then stamped on the circle. I got the top one a bit too high because I was following the original card.  Though the original card's flowers didn't stick up that much. I stamped these flowers four times around the circle.

Next I stamped the tiny buds looking image using Gray Granite ink. I stamped them four times. I also stamped again right next to the first image for a stamped off look.

The leaves were stamped using Granny Apple Green ink and the double leaves image.  I stamped them four times.

I wasn't satisfied with the flowers sticking so high up so I inked up that image again, stamped off and then stamped more around the circle, making sure they stuck out a little more than the first time around.  It helped balance out the image.  Though my eye is still drawn to the top of the circle at the two flowers sticking up.

I had some "Nobel Peacock" rhinetones left and I added them to the card. The original card used some clear epoxy dots.  I didn't have any of those so I used what I had.  You can always add something that is current.

This was a very fun and quick card to make. I think I'd like to make more but use pinks or even yellows.  It's a great card and can be used for many other occasions.

Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by today,
Wanda
