Winter Woods, Snowman Season, Christmas Card

I found a card on the internet that used the "Winter Woods" trees.  There's something about these trees that are of great interest to me. I think it's because they are all have fine sticks and no leaves.  A truly winter looking tree. You can see the original card here.  The theme there was "one layer cards".

The card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.

I punched out a 1-3/4" circle using scrap card stock.  I lightly traced the circle onto the front of the card.  I took the negative part of the punched circle and put it over the traced circle and I sponged on some Bermuda Bay card stock.  I just like the color.  Though I think I would rather cut the piece down to 4" x 5-1/4" and tape it to a folded half-sheet of Bermuda Bay card stock.

I stamped the trees from the "Winter Woods" set using black Memento ink.  I stamped them over the Bermuda Bay circle.

The words are from the "Snowman Season" set. I stamped them using black Memento ink.  And that was it.  It's a super quick and easy card to make.

I think these trees would make a wonderful sympathy card. So calm and serene looking. I think I may try that tomorrow if I don't put the set away!  LOL  I never put anything away until I need the room for my stampers!!! LOL

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
