Snowman Season, Christmas Card, 2019 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

I told you yesterday that today's card would be better!

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Real Red card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock.  On that piece I stamped the snowflakes from the "Snowman Season" set using Pool Party ink.  I stamped them at an angle, leaving the top left open for the words.  I stamped the words from the same "Snowman Season" set using Real Red ink.

Next I cut a 1-1/8" x 4" strip of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Let it Snow" 12" x 12" pack.  I taped the DSP to the Whisper White piece using snail tape. I taped it 7/8" up from the bottom edge of the Whisper White piece.

I took some Real Red "Curly Ribbon" and taped the edges to the back of the Whisper White piece.  I finally got to use my new spool of ribbon!  It's so soft, fuzzy and cute!

I punched out a snowman from the "Let it Snow" DSP.  Yup, there's a sheet of snowmen that match the punch!!!  I also punched out another snowman using a scrap piece of Whisper White.  I punched out the arms using Early Espresso and the hat was punched out from a piece of the DSP in the "Let it Snow" pack.  I taped the arms to the Whisper White snowman piece.  Then I added snail to the entire piece and set the printed one on top.  For the hat, I punched out one using Early Espresso card stock.  I added a little tape to the bottom part of the hat and affixed it to the back of the snowman's head.  Then I covered the back of the printed hat with snail tape and taped the two hat pieces together.  I added some Dimensionals and set the snowman in place.  Be sure not to add Dimensionals to the areas where the ribbon runs across the snowman.  It will make it bulge in those areas and not stick well in the other areas.

I had a die cut snowflake sitting in my stash and I affixed it to the DSP. I added a rhinestone that I colored using the Real Red Blends pen.  I used the dark one for this.

I set the panel in place on top of the card base using Dimensionals.  And for the final touch, I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock to the inside for writing on.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
