Christmas Layers, Frosted Frames, Snowman Season

Merry Christmas to you and yours.  I hope you are enjoying the holiday festivities.

Today I'm posting a quick and easy card to make.  And the last of the Christmas cards until next season.  Now I have to come up with card using what I have here until I can order (and wait for) the new stuff!  Gotta LOVE new stuff!

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Real Red card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White.

I die cut some snowflakes from the "Christmas Layers" dies. I used the Dazzling Diamonds card stock to give it some glitter and shimmer.

I had a couple of extra snowflakes sitting on my worktable that were from "Frosted Frames" dies.  I was happy that I was able to use them. I end up putting them in a small tote and forgetting about them and something better comes along and there they are, forgotten and unused!  I glued the snowflakes in place. I put some white glue down on my silicone sheet and folded it a little to get the glue on both sides (don't crease the sheet) and this also helps make the glue thinner.  Then I stuck the snowflakes to the card front.  Not very messy at all.  The glue will dry on the sheet and I will peel it off later.  Easy peasy.  Unless  you are like me and set your card down on top of it!!!  I'm keeping an ever watchful eye on it today!! LOL

I stamped the words from the "Snowman Season" set using Real Red ink.  I trimmed the piece to measure 7/8" x 3-1/4".  Then I cut a Real Red layer measuring 1-1/8" x 3-1/2".  I taped the two pieces together.  I set the word piece in place using Dimensionals.

And for the final touch, I added some small crystal rhinestones to the center of the snowflakes.  And to finish off the card I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock to the inside.

This was a fun, quick and easy card to make.

Enjoy the holidays and thank you for stopping by today,
Wanda
