Snowman Season, Let it Snow, Christmas Card, 2019 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

I am finding this card a but humorous.  I just wanted to play with the elements from the "Let it Snow" elements kit. I thought it would be fun to make a snowman without the snowman shape.  And I did.  But I think it looks like a Humpty Dumpty snowman!! LOL  Oh well, it is what it is and you know me. I share the good, the bad and the ugly with you!  Lucky you!!! LOL

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Pool Party card stock.  I'm surprised at how much Pool Party card stock I'm using this holiday season. I would have thought the blue color would have been Balmy Blue.  I did tape a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock on the inside.

I cut a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White card stock.

I taped a 1-3/4" x 5-1/8" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Let it Snow" 12" x 12" paper pack.

I die cut the second largest stitched oval and began to make it look like a snowman.  I started with the eyes, then the nose, followed by the mouth.  I added the arms.  I left a little space and then added the three "buttons".

I glued the Real Red hat and scarf in place.  I set it aside to dry while I die cut the Real Red scalloped oval for the back layer.

I set the oval on top of the DSP so I could see where to stamp the words.  The words are from the "Snowman Season" set. I used Real Red ink to stamp them.

I taped the ovals together and set them in place on the card using Dimensionals.  And the card was done.

It's my Humpty Dumpty snowman!!

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
