Daisy Lane, Wiggle Worm, Birthday Card, 2019-2020 Stampin' Up! Catalog

I found this fun card on Pinterest and I didn't save the link before I shut down my computer.  All I remember is the lady's name is Pinky and she's a Stampin' Up! demonstrator from the UK.  If I should run across it again, I will post a link to her blog here.  I was hoping to take some time to look more at her blog.  UGH!  (edited on 7-8-19  I found the name.  It's Pinky O' Hagan and here's the link to her card).

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Bermuda Bay card stock.  On top of that is a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White that has a piece of the Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the 6" x 6" Brights stack.  I cut the piece 3-7/8" x 2-1/2" and I tore the top.

I set the DSP on top of the Whisper White piece and lightly drew a line below the DSP paper edge so I knew how much of the stem I needed to have showing.  If I were to do this card again, I would make the DSP a lot shorter and I'd bring down the right flower to fit more in that open space.

I stamped petals from the "Daisy Lane" set, four small and two large using Bermuda Bay ink.  I punched them out and glued the centers together.  Meanwhile I stamped the words from the "Wiggle Worm" set on Whisper White card stock using Bermuda Bay ink.  I die cut them with the smallest Stitched Oval die and I added an Old Olive scalloped oval die for the back layer.

I took the flowers and set them on the card so I could see the placement of the stems.  I stamped the stems using Old Olive ink and I colored them in using the dark Old Olive Blends pen.

I set the flowers in place using Dimensionals.  I added clear "Faceted Gems" to the center of the flowers.  Two medium gems and one large one.

I taped the DSP on and added the word oval using Dimensionals.

It's an easy enough card to make.  I love the colors.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
