Beautiful Friendship, Daisy Punch, Birthday Card, 2019-2020 Stampin' Up! Catalog

Here's another super easy, fun and adorable card.  I just love the daisy on top of the Night of Navy Designer Series Paper (DSP).  The flower just seems to pop off the paper.  And notice, there's no leaves behind the flower?  The flower just stands alone.  I found this card on Pinterest.  You can see it here.  I changed the wording and the DSP.

The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 3" piece of DSP from the 6" x 6" Neutrals Collection pack.  You can make two cards from one piece of the DSP from the 6" x 6" pack.  You can make 8 cards from a 12" x 12" sheet.

The words are from the "Beautiful Friendship" set.  They were stamped using Night of Navy ink.

Both the large and medium daisy punches were used to make the flower.  Two of each sizes were punched out.  I glued the flowers together.  After gluing the two small flowers together, I pressed the center of the flower into my slightly cupped hand with my finger.  It allowed the little flowers to curl up a little.  I did not do that with the larger flowers because I needed them to just lay flat.  I glued the small flowers to the large flowers.  I set the flower in place using Dimensionals.  I added a "Perennial Essence Floral Center" to the daisy and the card was done.

It's just so simple and sweet looking.  I think this would be pretty using Merry Merlot or Cherry Cobbler DSP too.

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
