Floral Frames, Southern Serenade, Birthday Card

If you are looking to make a super quick card, this is it!  I couldn't believe how fast this card went together.  I found this card on the internet and you can see the original here.  I did change the bottom part of the card a little and the words.

The base the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.

On top of the card base is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Real Red.

And the focal piece, the top Whisper White piece was cut 3-7/8" x 5-1/8".

I stamped the ring image using black Memento ink.  I usually use Memento ink but here I really needed to because I was going to be coloring in the flowers with alcohol markers.

I stamped the matching flowers on a piece of scrap Whisper White card stock. I die cut these flowers.  If you don't have the dies you can fussy cut them.

I colored the flowers in the ring using the Real Red light and dark Blends pens.  I didn't think I had Real Red. I guess I need to cross it off my list. I thought the Blends I had were Flirty Flamingo because the caps are not a dark red, or even red looking.  But now I know and I hope I remember!!! LOL  Then I colored in the greenery using both light and dark Granny Apple Green Blends pens. After coloring in the flowers on the card front, I colored in the flowers that I stamped and die cut separately.

I taped the card front to the Real Red layer. Then I set those layers in place on top of the card base using Dimensionals.

I set the matching flowers in place using Dimensionals.

I colored in three enamel dots using the dark Granny Apple Green Blends pen.  I set them in place on the bottom right of the card front.

I added some tiny pearls to the center of each flower and that was it.

I can't believe how quickly this card went together.

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
