Daisy Delight, Botanical Butterfly, 2019 Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration

I'm SO loving this "Botanical Butterfly" Designer Series Paper (DSP).  I got it  free in the Stampin' Up! 2019 Sale-a-Bration catalog.  Yup, free.  The punch to punch the butterfly out wasn't free but you can always fussy cut it out if you don't have the punch.  Not one of my favorite things to do but I will do it if I only have to cut one!!!  SO lazy!!!

I found this card on Pinterest.  You can see the original card here.  I did change the words. I wanted something more bold.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic Black card stock.  And on top of that the Whisper White piece was cut 3-3/4" x 5".

I cut a 2" x 3-3/4" piece of the "Botanical Butterfly" DSP.  I taped it on the Whisper White layer. I cut a 1/4" x 3-3/4" piece of the checkered DSP, from the same pack. I taped it to the edge of the butterfly DSP.

In the paper pack I found the sheet that has the larger butterflies on it.  The ones that fit in the butterfly punch. I punched out a orange one. The original card has a different color. I don't remember but you will see it if you pop over there.  Before I added the butterfly, I stamped the words. The words are from the "Daisy Delight" set. I stamped them using black Memento ink.  Next I added the butterfly, attaching it with a Dimensional.  I drew in the dotted lines and the card was done.

This was a very fun card to make and I had a fun time with it.

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
