Snowfall, Snow is Glistening, Christmas Card

I found this card on Pinterest.  I didn't have some of the elements but this is what I came up with using what I had.  I'm not overly fond of it but it's here for all to see! LOL

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Balmy Blue card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock that I had misted with Balmy Blue ink mixed with 91% rubbing alcohol.

I used a 1/2" circle punch to clip the corners.

The snowflakes are from the "Snowfall" thinlits dies.  I die cut the long one on the right using Balmy Blue card stock. I also die cut two other single snowflakes on the Balmy Blue card stock.

I didn't have the silver glitter paper, so I used the Dazzling Diamonds card stock to cut out the three snowflakes.

I set the long strand of snowflakes using glue dots.  I set all of the other snowflakes in place using glue dots too.

I wrapped a piece of the silver edged white ribbon around the card and taped the edges on the backside.

I stamped the words from the "Snow is Glistening" set. I used Smoky Slate ink on Whisper White card stock. I trimmed that piece to 3/4" x 3".  I set it in place on top of the ribbon using Dimensionals.  I added a white Baker's Twine bow and set it in place with a glue dot.

I set the misted piece in place using Dimensionals. I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock on the inside and the card was done!

I thought it was a pretty simple card to make and I think the silver glitter paper would have been much prettier.

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
