Beautiful Blizzard, Snowflake Thinlits, Christmas Card

Today I thought I would play with one of the images in the "Beautiful Blizzard" set.  It's that large splat background.  The snowflake is covering most of it, which is good because I should have stamped off. It's just too dark for this delicate snowflake.  I also misted the card with Balmy Blue ink and rubbing alcohol.  If you click on the photo you will see it better.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. I stamped that splat image from the "Beautiful Blizzard" set using Balmy Blue ink.  Then I misted the card with Balmy Blue ink and rubbing alcohol. I set it aside to dry.

I die cut the largest snowflake and the second largest one in the "Snowflake" thinlits using Whisper White card stock.  I also cut a smaller snowflake using the silver foil card stock.  I taped the three snowflakes together in the center.  I set them on the card to see where I would like the words. I removed the snowflakes and stamped the "Season's Greetings" from the "Beautiful Blizzard" set using Balmy Blue ink.

The card dries fast, I had used 91% rubbing alcohol. I find it works better in crafts than the 70%.  I don't know why and maybe it's just be, but I that is what I use.

I set the taped snowflakes in place using Dimensionals and the card was done.  I REALLY wished I would have gotten this set before I started our Christmas cards.  This set is only available through November 2018.  Just a few days left.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
