Beautiful Blizzard, Santa's Workshop, Christmas Card, 2018 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

Today I made another card from Terri's display board. I thought this snowman from the "Santa's Workshop" Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP).  The specialty part of this paper is the fuzzy areas.  The white stripes on the red and white strip in the background are fuzzy and so are the snowflakes around the snowman.  This is such fun and cute paper.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Poppy Parade.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White.

I cut the red and white stripe piece 1" x 4-1/4".

I die cut the circles as follows.  The red Poppy Parade one was cut 2-7/8".  The Basic Black circle was cut 2-1/8" and the snowman circle was cut 1-7/8". I used the circle framelits to cut these but if you have the punches that are the above size or close to them, they should work.  As long as you can see the layers!!  I taped all three of these circles together.

I set them on front of the card to see where the word placement should go.  The words are from the "Beautiful Blizzard" set.  It was a set I HAD to by because it is full of snowflakes!! I LOVE snowflakes!  I stamped the words using black Memento ink.

I taped the strip in place using snail tape.  It's about 1" from the top edge of the Whisper White piece.

I set the circles in place using Dimensionals and I added the bow to the top of the circle.  I didn't have the black organza glittery ribbon like the original card had but like I've been saying, I'm making do with what I have and trust me, I have LOTS of retired supplies here!

This was a very fun and simple card to make.  No fussy cutting, just die cutting. I die cut the three circles all at one time!  I could see myself making this card again!

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
