Cauldron Bubble, Toil & Trouble, Swirly Bird, Halloween Card

I finally got to play with the spider web die cut.  I think it's a big part of the reason I wanted to buy this "Cauldron Bubble" bundle.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  This card opens on the right.

I took a strip of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Toil & Trouble" DSP 12" x 12" pack.  I cut that strip 5-1/4" x 1-1/8".  I cut a piece of Granny Apple Green card stock 5-1/4" x 1-3/8".  I taped those layers together and then I taped them to the left side of the card.

I die cut two spider web wedges using Basic Black card stock. I did add the double sided sticky paper to the card stock so I could make these into stickers. I just couldn't imagine gluing those tiny pieces.  I set them in place as you see on the card. I lined the edges up so it looked like a half a web.

Next I die cut a Gorgeous Grape swirl from the "Swirly Bird" set.  I did have to glue it in place but at least these lines were thicker than the spider web!

I also die cut a cauldron from the "Toil & Trouble" DSP paper pack. I set it in place using Dimensionals.

The words are from the "Cauldron Bubble" set and I stamped them using Gorgeous Grape ink.

And that was it.  A very fun and quick Halloween card to make! And it's another kid friendly card.  I think I need to start a new category on the right side bar for Kid Friendly cards.

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
