September 2018 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card, Halloween Card

The September 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit has a LOT of little baggies to fill with candy candy make the toppers.  I didn't need that many cute baggies so I decided to make a card and this is what I came up with.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Basic Black card stock.  The green dotted paper is from the "Toil & Trouble" Designer Series Paper (DSP).  I cut the DSP 4" x 5-1/4".

I took the spider baggie and cut a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock 1-3/4" x 4-1/8". I cut the front of the baggie and taped the sides to the back of the card stock.  I taped that piece to a 1-7/8" x 4-1/4" piece of Basic Black card stock.

I took one of the tags from the kit and stamped spiders all over it using black Memento ink. The spiders are from the Paper Pumpkin set. There's two in the kit. I think they're adorable.  I cut the tag in half and slipped it under the Pumpkin Pie layer.  I taped it in place on the card front.

I added two of the die cut ghosts that came with the kit. I set them in place using Dimensionals.

The "Boo" also came in the kit. It's a foil sticker and I set it in place on the bottom part of the card.  Cute, huh?  A kid friendly Halloween card.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
