Better Together, Share What You Love, Birthday Card

Here's a card that almost makes you feel guilty for making it  Almost!!! It's because it doesn't take long at all to make it.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  I cut it at 4-1/4" on the 8-1/2" side.  With this card having a layer, you can cut it in half the usual way at 5-1/2" on the 11" side.  My card opens at the bottom.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock.  Then I cut a 2-3/4" x 4" piece of the color dotted "Share What You Love" Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP).  The "S" in front for "Specialty" means there's images on it that shimmer.  I used the backside, so there's no shimmer.

I stamped the words from the "Better Together" set using black Memento ink.

I took a piece of Shimmer Basic Black ribbon.  I taped the ends of the ribbon on the backside and I tied a knot on the front.

I set the piece in place on the card base using Dimensionals.  And the card was done. I told you it didn't take long to make it.  This would be a good way to use up a lot of that left over or retired papers and ribbons!!!

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
