Dandelion Wishes, Itty Bitty Greetings, Sympathy Card, Stampin' Up 2018-2019 Catalog

Every time I see the "Dandelion Wishes" set I just think of it being on a sympathy card.  So while looking on Pinterest, I found a card and it was not a sympathy card!

This is a very simple card to make.  The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Gorgeous Grape card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Highland Heather.

I stamped the dandelion on a 3-7/8" x 2-7/8" piece of Whisper White. I set the piece on top of the card base and I marked a like with a pencil so I knew where to stamp the wispy seeds off to the right side.  I had stamped the dandelion and seeds using black Memento ink. The Gorgeous Grape border behind the Whisper White piece was cut 4" x 3". I was not smart when I die cut the scalloped oval, I should have cut it from this 4" x 3" piece (directly in the center) and I wouldn't have had to cut into a 1/4" sheet of the Gorgeous Grape card stock. UGH!!!

The words are from the "Itty Bitty Greetings" set. They were stamped on Whisper White card stock using black Memento ink.  I die cut the oval and then I die cut the scalloped oval.

Before taping the dandelion piece in place, I wrapped some white baker's twine around the piece and tied a bow. I taped the piece in place on top of the card.  I taped the oval layers together and added Dimensionals to it and set it in place on the card. I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock to the inside and the card was done!

It's a very simple and quick card to make. I'm really liking these new purples!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
