Dandelion Wishes, Get Well Card, 2018 - 2019 Stampin' Up! Catalog

I took the day off yesterday. I was visiting some friends from high school and when I got home I had a lot of things to do and couldn't squeeze in a card. It was kind of sad because I LOVE spending time in my workroom, even though it's such a mess!  And speaking of a mess, I was looking at the mess on my worktable and I saw the layered rectangle and thought I should work it into a card.

The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Mint Macaron.  On top of that is a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White card stock.

The black layer is 4-1/8" x 3-1/8". The "Share What You Love" Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP) was cut 4" x 3".  I tied a piece of the Whisper White sheer 1/8" ribbon around it and tied a knot. I set it in place with Dimensionals.

I also had the black scalloped oval laying on my worktable. I stamped the words from the "Dandelion Wishes" set using black Memento ink. I die cut it with an oval that went with the scalloped oval.  I taped those two pieces together. I set the oval in place using Dimensionals. I only added them to 3/4 of the oval, there's no need to cover the entire back, it's raised too high to stick to the Whisper White piece. Plus that would bend the oval!

This was a very fun and easy card to make. I wish it wouldn't have sat on my worktable for so long!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
