Touches of Textures, Flourishing Phrases, Sympathy Card

So today I thought I would try the same card as yesterday but used markers instead of gold embossing.  And I like this look too.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.

The white panel is 4-1/2" x 2-1/4".  The Flirty Flamingo piece is cut 4-5/8" x 2-3/8".  You want just a sliver of the color to show.

I stamped the flower using the "Touches of Texture" set and the words are from the "Flourishing Phrases" set. I stamped both using black Memento ink.

I colored the flowers using the Flirty Flamingo marker and I colored the leaves using the Mint Macaron marker.

I taped the two layers together and tied a ribbon around them. I added Dimensionals to the back and set the layers in place.  Super easy and such a nice sympathy card.  And once again, after seeing it on my computer screen I realized that I needed to add tiny pearls to the center of each flower.  It can go either way there. It's just as pretty without as it is with them.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

  1. Love these cards (three consecutive days) with different colors and tiny changes in details. So pretty. Enjoy your weekend.
