Love What You Do, Thank You Card

Playing again with the new stuff!!!  I will try not to play with one set too long, even though it's a lot of fun. I have to remember that I can always come back to the set in the near future!

The "Love What You Do" set is very fun to play with. I found a card on Pinterest that used the shaded background image and I thought it was a very fun look. So, why not give it a try and see if it's as easy as it looks.  It is!

The base of my card is a folded half piece of Powder Pink card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock.

I stamped the background image using Powder Pink ink.  I stamped the flowers and the words using Fresh Fig ink. I don't think I've ever used that ink since I bought it.  I don't use the in colors much. In fact, this time I didn't buy and of the in colors.  It's such a big expense and with the newly changed color lineup, it just wasn't in the budget.  Anyway, after I stamped the flowers and words, I used the fun small shadow type stamp in the set.  It's the smallest one. I stamped it using Petal Pink ink. I didn't think it looked dark enough so I stamped it again so it was nice and dark.  I had tried to stamp off on the large background image but it was WAY too light.  But I managed to get the flower petals to have some color and I think it's a very pretty card.

This was a super easy and quick card to make. I am having fun with this new set.  There's lots more stuff in it to play with!!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
