Petal Palette, Stylized Birthday, Birthday Card

I am REALLY hoping that there will be another large birthday word stamp. I LOVE how this takes up SO much real estate on a card.  Sometimes you can just get by with the word stamp alone and some decorative paper.

This is a very fun and quick card to make.  Not to mention easy.

The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Pool Party card stock.  On top of that is a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White card stock that was stamped using the little flower image in the "Petal Palette" set and Pool Party ink.

I stamped the "Stylized Birthday" wording using black Memento ink. I die cut it with the largest oval die.  Then I took the largest scalloped oval and cut one out of Basic Black card stock.  I cut that piece in half and taped it to the back of the word oval.  Then I taped that to the Whisper White background piece.

I stamped and die cut the flower image from the "Petal Palette" set. I used the Pool Party and Old Olive Blends markers to color them in.  I set them in place using Dimensionals.  And that was it!!  Pretty and quick too!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
