Guy Greetings, Truly Gentleman, Masculine Birthday Card

I have had a lot of fun with the "True Gentleman" Decorative Series Paper (DSP).  It was a very nice and fun masculine paper.  Here the pipes one was used.  It's not my favorite in the pack but it ranks up there pretty high!!

This card opens a little differently than others.  Well, it opens like others but is cut a little differently.  The Chocolate Chip card stock measures 5-1/2" x 7-1/2".  On the 7-1/2" side, score at 4-1/4".  See that Very Vanilla part showing at the bottom?  That is the inside of the card.

The DSP is cut 3" x 5-1/4".  If you are doing a Stamp a Stack, this is a perfect layout for getting a lot of cards from a 12" x 12" piece of DSP.  The DSP was taped to the upper part of the front of the card.

Next I stamped the car from the "Guy Greetings" set.  I die cut it with the stitched oval and then an oval a little bit larger for the Chocolate Chip layer.  I also stamped the words and used two ovals to die cut the words and the Chocolate Chip layer. I taped the layers together and then set them in place on the card using Dimensionals.  Only add Dimensionals to the upper half of the car image or you will tape your card shut!  NOT a good thing!!!

I stamped the "DAD" on the bottom right corner and the card was done.  It's a super quick and easy card to make.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
