March 2018 Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card, Birthday Card

Here's another card I made using the March 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit.

For this card, I fussy cut the rose. I mostly based this card on the layout I used yesterday.  I had a half-sheet of Crumb Cake card stock and a half a note card yet to use, so that's part of the reason for the sort of same layout.  No doily this time. This time I used all of the items from the kit except for the Crumb Cake card base.

The Rich Razzleberry layer is from cutting one of the note cards in half. And I trimmed off 1/4" from the long side so it measured 3-1/2" x 4-3/4".  I cut the rose stamped Crumb Cake background note card to 3" x 4-1/4".

In the kit there is an envelope with a rose on the front. I fussy cut that rose.  On the back side of that envelope is the dotted Rich Razzleberry card stock that I cut at 1" x 4".  I used the "Banner Triple" punch (not included in the kit) to make the end of the strip pointed. I taped that piece in place.  I used Dimensionals to set the rose in place and then I added the leaves from the kit.  Next I stamped the words from the kit using Rich Razzleberry ink (not in the kit) and I set them in place using Dimensionals.  I added to Rich Razzleberry pearls that are found in the kit.  For a final touch, I colored the flower in using the "Wink of Stella" pen (not included in the kit).

The Rich Razzleberry layer was set in place using Dimensionals.  Oh and I added some Wink of Stella to the rose bud, but only to the pink part.  And that was it.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
