Party Panda, 2018 Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration, Children's Birthday Card

I found some fun black and white Decorative Series Paper (DSP) in the "Whole Lot of Lovely" 12" x 12" pack. I never seem to make children's cards.  Probably because I don't own many children's stamp sets.  But this little bear is great for kids and adults too!

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of the black and white dotted DSP.  On top of that is a 4" x 3" piece of Basic Black and the focal piece was cut 3-7/8" x 2-7/8".

The bear was stamped on a scrap piece of Whisper White and fussy cut.  Yup, you need to fussy cut.  But this card is SO quick to make that the couple of minutes you spend fussy cutting is SO worth it!

I colored the hat in with Real Red and Daffodil Delight markers.  That's all the coloring. The bear is stamped with black Memento ink and he didn't need any coloring!!

The words are from the "Panda Party" set using black Memento ink.  I set the bear in place using Dimensionals and the card was done!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
