Seasonal Chums, Christmas Card

This card looks much prettier in real life.  I had some "found pieces" and I thought I would put them together to make a card. The photo here looks like I just put something together but when you have the card in your hand it looks so much better.

I had a scrap piece of that gold and silver snowflake paper so I added it to the upper left corner.  I had one of those larger snowflake doily type pieces in gold, so I taped it on the bottom and to the right.

I was going to put a fun snowflake in the center of the flower until I saw a deer sitting on my worktable. I hope it wasn't for another project!!!  I set the deer in place using Dimensionals.  The deer is from the "Seasonal Chums" set.  That set is going to carry over to the 2018-2019 catalog. YAY!!!!  I didn't get to play with it as much as I wanted to.  Kind of like the "Cookie Cutter Christmas" set.  I was glad to see it went to the current catalog and I hardly used it. I did like the bear for baby cards and the mummy for get well cards though. I may have to make some because I'm pretty sure it will show up in the retired list.

Anyway, this was a fun and quick card to put together.  I need to make extra pieces of things now and then so when I'm in a creative mood or mode, I can play around with them and come up with a card.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
