Snowflake Sentiments, Daisy Delight, Christmas Thank You Card

I'm still making a few more wintry Christmas thank you cards.  I did find one like this on the net. You can see the original card here.  It's done in different colors. I opted for black and white with some silver because I had the black glittery ribbon.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic Black card stock.  On top of that is a 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" piece of Smoky slate and on top of that is a 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of Whisper White.

I stamped the "Thank You" from the "Daisy Delight" stamp set  using Smoky Slate ink.  Then I taped it in place on the upper part of the card front. Next I wrapped a piece of the black glitter ribbon around the card and taped the edges on the back.  I slipped a piece of ribbon in on the front and tied a knot.  I like these kinds of knots because you can move them and put them exactly where you want them.  I had lined the ribbon edge with the edge of the Smoky Slate card stock.

Then I added the silvery snowflake. I am not sure what they are called, I had received them as a thank  you gift and this is my last one.  I did have fun with them!!!

The small snowflakes are from the "Snowflake Sentiments" bundle. I die cut 2 using the silver metallic card stock.  I taped them in the center and added a rhinestone to hide the tape that showed through the hole in the center of the snowflake.  I added a few rhinestones around the card until I thought it looked pretty and that was it.

This is a very quick and easy thank you card to make, or a Christmas card.  I just thought it was pretty and would make a good thank you card since it's after Christmas and I didn't need anymore Christmas cards.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
