Background Bits, Painted Harvest, Thank You Card

I found this fun layout on Pinterest.  I thought it would be a super fun card to make.  I don't care for fussy cutting and this flower had lots of tips to clip, but I toughed it out and got it cut!! LOL  You can see the original card here, I did change the color and I may have changed the wording, I don't know. It's in German and I didn't try to translate it but from what I can surmise, it says something like thankful for your kindness.

I didn't have the stitched square dies but I actually do.  I looked in my set and all I saw were circles and ovals.  The squares are between the paper backing and the cover.  DUH!! Well, I do have them so maybe I'll try this card using some other image, some other time!

The colors I used here are Pumpkin Pie and Tangerine Tango. I used Soft Suede for the center of the flower. For the leaves I used Pear Pizzazz and then Old Olive for the details on the leaves.  I die cut the leaves and then began the assembly.

I set the square in place but I didn't stick it on. I needed to see where I was going to stamp the words. I stamped the words using Soft Suede.  Then I affixed the frame. using Dimensionals.  I added Dimensionals to the bottom left corner of the frame and set the flower on top to see which direction I wanted it to go.  I removed the protective pack and set the leaves in place and then the flower on top. I tied a linen bow and that was it.  It's a pretty simple card to make and the fussy cutting wasn't all that bad.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
