Painted Harvest, Rose Wonder, Birthday Card

I got some fun stamps yesterday and I couldn't wait to play with them today.  I found this card on Pinterest.  I did not do as good of a job as the original designer did, but I had fun with it anyway!  You can see the original card here.

This card has no layers.  Not a single one!!!  I have not made a no layer card in a very long time!

To make this card I took the larger flower image and stamped it three times using Soft Sky ink.  Inking each time.  Use a Stamp-a-ma-jig for this or a MISTI.  Next stamp the second smaller flower part three times, inking each time.

Next I stamped the center using Crumb Cake ink and the flower center image.  There's a dotted image and I used that one a few times around the card and in the center of the flowers. I used it straight off the pad and got a couple more stampes out of it before I inked it again. Then I switched to So Saffron ink and added some yellow dots the same way I did with the Crumb Cake ones.

Then I stamped the leaves.  That is what made my card look uglier than the original card.  I have to much stem showing.  I used Pear Pizzazz ink and stamped off once.

The original card showed Wink of Stella on the card. I ran out but when I get some I'm going to be adding it to my card.

The words were stamped using Basic Black ink and the "Rose Wonder" set.  It was a fun card to make and it seemed so strange to not make layers!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
