Beautiful You, Beautiful Bouquet, Birthday Card

I really like this "Beautiful You" stamp set. I have not played with it enough.  I found this fun card on Pinterest.  You can see it here.  I changed a few things on it but for the most part it's the same layout and image.

I used Bermuda Bay for my color. I used a folded half-sheet for the base of the card.  I actually made two cards because of the top piece.  I ran a 1/4 sheet of Whisper White card stock through the Big Shot using the "Garden Trellis" embossing folder. I cut it 4" x 5-1/4" and then I cut it in half.  I figured as long as I had two pieces I might as well make two cards. It's an easy enough card to make too.

I cut a 3" x 3" piece of Whisper White card stock and stamped the lady from the "Beautiful You" set on it.  I colored in the skin with a Pink Pirouette marker.  I colored the hat using the Bermuda Bay marker.  And I made dots on the dress with the marker.  And that piece was done.

Next I cut a 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" Piece of Basic Black ink and layered the stamped image.

To assemble, I first tied some Bermuda Bay Mini Chevron Ribbon around the embossed piece.  I taped that piece in place on the upper part of the card.  Then I added Dimensionals to the stamped image and set it in place over the ribbon and to the left.

The words are from the "Beautiful Bouquet" set and were stamped using Basic Black ink.  And that was it.  Super easy and quick!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
