You've Got This, Rose Wonder, Birthday Card

I am actually trying to clean up my workroom!  I ran across this flower from the "You've Got This" set.  I had stamped it using VersaMark and white embossing powder.  I colored the flower in using Soft Sky ink and a blender pen.  The center is Daffodil Delight and a little Delightful Dijon.  The leaves are done using Pear Pizzazz.

This was a simple card to make and quick too, even if I were to have had to stamp and emboss.  That only takes about 2 minutes to do.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White cardstock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4 piece of Soft Sky cardstock.  I added a 4-1/2" x 2" piece of Soft Sky decorative paper from the 12" x 12" stack. The Basic Black layer behind it is 4-3/4" x 2-1/4".

The flower panel was cut after I had stamped the flower, it measures 3-1/2" x 2-5/8".  The Basic Black layer behind it is cut 3-3/4" x 2-7/8".

The words are from the "Rose Wonder" set.  I stamped them on Whisper White cardstock using Basic Black ink. I used the stitched oval die to cut it out and I used a scalloped oval die for the Basic Black layer behind it.  I set the words in place using Dimensionals.  And that was it.  Pretty simple, quick and elegant looking.

I have a ton of that 12" x 12" paper in those stacks to use up. It's retiring at the end of the month, except for the in colors.  I don't think I will accomplish that goal!!! LOL  Especially when you use small pieces like this!!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
