A You've Got This, Wetlands, Birthday Card

I found a fun card made by Rachael at My Stampin' Haven, so I thought I'd make one.  I copied it almost exactly.  The only difference is that I added more rhinestones on the background.  I did like it plain but something told me to add them.

The base of this card is a folded half sheet of Whisper White card stock.  It was cut on the short side so this card opens from the bottom.

I stamped the background image using Rich Razzleberry ink.
The flower was stamped using Versa Mark and black embossing powder.  I trimmed it up by hand (fussy cutting again!!!) and colored the petals in using a blender pen and Rich Razzleberry ink.  The center of the flower is colored in using a Daffodil Delight marker.

I die cut a circle and then stamped the word from the "Wetlands" set.  Normally I would stamp the words and then cut it out.  But the circle was big enough that I was able to get by stamping on it.

I cut a 5/8" strip of Basic Black card stock and snipped the end to give it that ribbon look.  I set it in place on the card base.  Then I set the circle in place using Dimensionals.  I set the flower on top using Dimensionals.

I tied a silver cord bow and set it in place with a glue dot.  I added a rhinestone to the center.  Here I also added it with a glue dot, I wanted to make sure it stuck well. Those little glue dots hold very well.  Then I added some rhinestones around the front of the card and that was it!!

Even with the fussy cutting, it went together pretty fast.  I do like how it turned out.  And I'm a BIG fan of Rich Razzleberry.  With fall around the corner, it's fun to use the richer colors again.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
