A Flourishing Phrases Swirly Scribbles and Rose Garden Sympathy Card

I did not need a sympathy card.  I was looking for some words that would fit in that bottom area nice those were the ones that I found. They are from the "Flourishing Phrases" set.  I stamped them using Soft Suede ink.

The base of my card is Very Vanilla.  I used  a piece of fabric paper from the "Serene Scenery" decorative paper stack. This is a great stack of paper.  It's got a lot of images that are photographed and on the backside is regular very fun printed images.  I may be using the backsides more than the front!

The roses are from the "Swirly Scribbles" Framelits.  The leaves are from the "Rose Garden" Framelits.

I cut my Very Vanilla piece 4 x 2-3/4" and I cut the Soft Suede layer 4-1/4" x 3".  I stamped the words and then I began to assemble the flowers and leaves.  I Peekaboo Peach, So Saffron and Rose Red for the flowers.  The leaves were done using Pear Pizzazz and Wild Wasabi card stock.  I set the focal panel in place using Dimensionals.

This card turned out okay. Oh and in person, the decorative paper strip does go better with the card stock than it does in the photo.  This is not one of my favorite cards and I probably won't make another one.  I like the "Swirly Scribbles" but not so much on this card.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
