A Happy Birthday Everyone and Botanical Builder Flower Birthday Card

I am on a quest to use more decorative papers.  I have an open package of the 12" x 12" "Botanical Gardens" paper and another full package too!  So I'd better get moving!!! LOL

I LOVE the large "Happy Birthday" from the "Happy Birthday, Everyone" set.  It takes up a lot of the card and it can do one of two things. It can fill up a card or it can limit you as to what more you can do under the words.  I look at it as it filling up the card.  I can always add layers and if something is big, it can hid the pieces that I may have cut too big, or didn't have enough of the border card stock on the top.  No one would know.  I did have enough here but I have done that in the past.  I've hidden an edge that didn't have enough border.

Today I just wanted the card to show off some of the decorative paper under the greetings.  I added the flower in the corner.  I had it in my stash of pieces I had cut out when I was cutting out other pieces.  I want to make my pass through the Big Shot worth while, so I add other dies and card stock and just add them to a little container I have.  When I need one I first check the container and if I don't have what I want I will make a new one but I will again add other dies in my pass through the Big Shot.  Don't waste that pass!!!

This was a fun and easy card to make.  I love it when I can make cards with several layers.  You know how much I love layers!!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
