Season of Cheer Gift Card Envelopes

Some of the places I shopped at I had picked up gift cards. Some gave me envelopes and some didn't.  I was in need of a few envelopes so I decided to make mine.  After all, I do have the Envelope maker and TONS of decorative paper!!  The two main ingredients for envelopes!!!

I cut my decorative paper 5-1/2" x 5-1/2".  I lined the left edge of my paper at the 2-3/8" mark.  I ran my stylus down the score line on the right and I punched the top. I turned the paper and lined the score line up with the long bar that sticks out on the left side and then I scored on the right side and punched again.  I repeated this 2 more times.

Next I cut the tip of one end of the envelopes off.  I didn't like how high it stuck up when the card was folded closed.  After cutting, I glued the two sides and it was done!  I set them under a heavy punch to let the glue set up while I worked on the next one.  Now they are ready for their gift cards!!!

These are super easy, fun and quick to make!!! Plus it's a good way to use up some of your decorative paper. Oh and they are a lot prettier than the ones I got from the store.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
