A Butterfly Framelit and Wetlands Birthday Card

I was in my workroom today (which is were I love to be) and I saw this butterfly that I had cut out a while back.  Actually it was quite a while back and it was still in great shape.  I thought I should try to do something with it today before it does get ruined.
I took out my 12" x 12" "Irresistibly Yours" paper and I sprayed it with Marina Mist ink and water.  I didn't want a solid piece so that was why I went with the misting.

I used Tip Top Taupe card stock on the top part and added a half a paper doily.  I added a piece of 1/4" white ribbon and then the butterfly.  The butterfly was set in place using Dimensionals and pearls were added down the center

The words are from the "Wetlands" set and were layered using Pacific Point (oh, that is the color of the butterfly).  The words were set in place using Dimensionals.

It was a fun card to make and pretty quick because the butterfly was already done.  I love it when I can find pieces of stuff and make a card from it!!!  See why I never throw anything away?   LOL

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
