A Wetlands Masculine Birthday Card

As I was surfing the net just minding my own business, this card popped up and caught my eye!!! The original card was made by Helen at "All Things Stampy".  I thought it was such a nice clean looking masculine card and it was something that I just HAD to make.

I don't have any more Baked Brown Sugar card stock or ink anymore. It is retired.  So I thought that I would find something that was close.  Well, Crumb Cake is very close so I decided to go with that and it worked!!!

I did use black Memento ink for the goose but other than that all the other stamping is done using Crumb Cake.

I did struggle a bit with the word piece.  I cut it too small a couple of times but I finally got it to the length that I liked and I was happy with it.

The goose and the words are set in place using Dimensionals.  I kind of cheated getting the two pieces to line up.  I taped the word piece to the bottom of the circle and then I added the Dimensionals.  That way I didn't have to try to line the words up on top of the goose after the goose was already in place. It worked!!!

Now that I look at my card, because of the color difference, I think I might add a circle layer behind the goose the next time I make this card.  I do plan on making a few of these.  They are quick and easy to do!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
