A Guy Greetings Birthday Card for Grandpa Monochromatic

While looking through a bunch of images I had previously stamped, I ran across this hats one from the "Guy Greetings" set. It's kind of fun when you have some images stamped ahead of time.  When you run across them, an idea on what to do with it comes to mind and off you go!!  On my Whisper White piece of card stock I found the hats with the "Happy Birthday" stamped under it.  Also on that piece of card stock was "Grandpa".  So, why not whip up a Grandpa birthday card???

I used the Framelits circles and cut out the hats piece and the layer behind it was one size larger.

I used some fun decorative paper from the Neutrals pack and added a triangle piece to it.  The triangle piece was a scrap piece that I had trimmed up to use for whatever came along.  I did have to cut the left side so it measured 4" to fit the 4" bottom part of the decorative paper.  The height of this piece didn't matter, I would have used it at whatever size it was, which is what I did!!!.  I never throw scraps away, I most often can find a use for them.

I set the words and the circles in place using Dimensionals.  It doesn't show up on here because it's so "black and white", but trust me, there are Dimensionals under there!!!

This was a super quick and easy card to make.  And even quicker when you have stuff already stamped.  As though stamping takes a lot of time, right?  LOL

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
