A You've Got This Birthday Card

Today I thought I would make a quick and simple card using the "You've Got This" stamp set and a blender pen!!!  I had just refilled my blender pen and it's nice and juicy, just how I LOVE working with them.  I find it extremely difficult to work with a dryer blender pen.  You can find the recipe for the pen here.   And there are instructions here on how to take your blender pen apart to refill it.  You can find those instructions here.

For my card I used Calypso Coral.  First I colored in the center of my flower with just the Daffodil Delight marker.  Then I colored in the flower using my blender pen.  I scribbled my pen on one of my clear blocks and picked the ink up with my blender pen.  I did the same for the leaves.  I colored them using Pear Pizzazz.  And I took some Smoky Slate and went around the whole flower to make it look a little more 3-D.

The words are from the "Wetlands" set and I added them to the card using Dimensionals. And that's all there was to this card.  Oh, except for the fun decorative paper.  I bought a stack.  I did have to cut 2 pieces because I wanted the words to be on the bottom and the opposite side of the words was the dots!  So now I'll have to come up with another card with the words on the top (some other day!).  So if you're looking for a quick and easy card to make, this is it!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
