A Watercolor Wash Background Birthday

I do like this new Mint Macaron color but I really think it looks a lot like the old Sage Shadow color that Stampin' Up! use to sell. I may have to just hang onto those old colors to see which ones come back!!!!

This is one of the cards that I made at Terri's super fun and always FABULOUS Stamp a Stacks.  The background image was stamped using Mint Macaron ink and the Watercolor Wash background stamp.  I tried that stamp a few weeks ago and did not like it as well as I liked the background stamp that came with the "You've Got This" set.  I like it but not as well.

Then we taped the doily in place.  Next we stamped the words we wanted to use.  I made my card into a birthday card and I'm sorry, but I don't know what set those words came from.  Then they were punched out using the 2-1/2" circle punch.  Then the flower was punched out using the in colors decorative paper pack.  A small flower was punched out and the petals were clipped.  Yup, every petal!!  That was set in place using a Dimensional.  A pearl was added to the center and that was it.  Super easy and super quick too!! Oh and don't forget, super cute!!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
