A Mother's Love and I Like You Mother's Day Card

What's wrong with this picture?  I worked SO hard on the coloring with a blender pen and the fussy cutting.  I am so spoiled by the punches that when it comes to cutting anything out I just cringe.  Well, I cringed, colored, and cut.  I assembled the card and then I looked at it.  Nothing like NOT paying attention.  The "nobody" is covered up by the flower.  UGH!  How could I have not seen that?????  Gosh, and lucky you, I am sharing it with you!!!

I used the I Like You Hostess set for the flowers.  I colored them in with the blender pen using Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, and Pumpkin Pie ink.  I stamped the two larger flower sets twice and colored them.  I cut them out and glued them in place.  Yes, I said glue.  They are there to stay!!

I used the oval punch for the opening.  And the words in the opening are from the Mother's Love set.

I saw a card made by Paula at Stampinantics and I thought it was so pretty.  I liked it enough to try to make one.  Though the card there has different words in the center and the flowers do NOT cover it!!! LOL

Sorry this card is a flop but you are creative enough to see beyond that and you can make one yourself and make it even better!!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
