A Moon Lake Father's Day Card

I know it's a little early for Father's Day but I thought I would get a jump on things here.  I LOVE it when I can be ahead of the game.  And then there are those time when I make cards and I'm ahead of the game and I misplace the cards!  UGH!!! Sometimes I just can't win!

But for today, lets just pretend that I will remember where I put this card in 4 months!!! LOL

This is one of the cards I made at Terri's Stamp A Stack last night.  I had such a great time there and Terri always has such great cards to make.  She's SO talented and knows how to put things together and have them turn out great.

For this card we used Baked Brown Sugar card stock for the base of the card.  The Modern Label punch piece was punched using Soft Suede, and we used Very Vanilla for the focal and word piece.

The image is from the Moon Lake set.  I LOVE it when Stampin' Up! comes out with new masculine sets. The image was stamped using Baked Brown Sugar ink.  Once the image was stamped it was punched out using the 2-1/2" circle punch.  The edges were sponged and the piece was set aside.

The Hardwood background stamp was used on the Baked Brown Sugar card stock, then it was folded in half.

Burlap ribbon was trimmed and set in place with Dimensionals.  Then the circle was set in place with Dimensionals.  Then finally the Modern Label piece was taped in place.

This was a very fun, quick and easy card to make!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
