A Flower Shop and Work of Art Birthday Card

Today I thought I would have some fun playing with my embossing tool.  I am not a big fan of it because I usually mess up my embossing.  Many times it's because I'm so anxious to get going with it that I don't remember to use the resin bag on it and I have little bits of embossing powder where I don't want it.  Today was no different in the being anxious but I didn't get embossing powder everywhere. It only went where I wanted it to and I didn't use the resin bag.

After I embossed the "Work of Art" zig zag I sponged on some Soft Sky ink.  My card stock measured 3-1/4" x 4-1/2".  The Melon Mambo layer was cut at 3-1/4 x 4-3/4" and then layered with the focal piece.

Next I stamped the flower from "Flower Shop" using Melon Mambo.  Then I stamped another flower using Hello Honey for the center of the flower.  And then a final one using Mossy Meadow for the leaves.  I assembled the flower and set it in place on the card using Dimensionals.

I used the Modern Label punch and the Word Window Punch for the words.  And the words are from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set.  That was set in place using Dimensionals too.

And there you have it.  A simple and quick card to make!!!  Very versatile too, it will work for a sympathy card, a thank you card, a get well card, a thinking of you card, and a Mother's Day card.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
