A Bloom with Hope Birthday and a Fun Fold!

I tend to make my cards using the "open on the right side" style.  Once in a while I will venture out to the "open from the bottom" style, but not very often.  And even more rare, the "folded front" card.

I used Cherry Cobbler card stock.  I cut the full sheet in half on the short side.  Then I folded it in half and then I folded the front panel back.

The inside piece is cut 4" x 5-1/4".  I set it in place (not taped it) and I stamped the flowers.  I colored them using the Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities markers.  Those things really make coloring SO easy!

Next I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler decorative paper  2-1/4" x 4".  Before I taped it in place I taped a piece of Cherry Cobbler satin ribbon around the edges.  Then I took another piece of the ribbon and tied it to the first piece of ribbon.  Then I taped the piece in place.

Next I punched out the scallop, a 1-3/8" Cherry Cobbler circle, and the words that were done on my computer were punched out using the 1-1/4" circle punch.  I set that in place using Dimensionals.

The final step was to tape the Whisper White piece with the flower on it.  And there you have it.  A super quick and super easy Birthday card!

All the gifts are wrapped. All the baking is done.  The kitchen is full of dishes to do and then I can finally take a few minutes to relax before the festivities begin!  Merry Christmas Eve!

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
