Lovely as a Tree Masculine Card

I just got in from watching the space station fly over my home.  It was like watching an airplane go by.  Nothing to write home about but yet it was kind of cool knowing that it was the space station and not an airplane!  I'm just glad I wasn't woken up in the wee hours of the morning to go see it!!  I bet someone else was glad they didn't have to wake me up in the wee hours to see the airplane like light go by!!! LOL

Okay, onto this card! This "Lovely as a Tree" was much lovelier in my head than how it turned out on paper!!!  I used Marina Mist for the base of my card and then a piece of Soft Suede for a layer.  I stamped the tree using Soft Suede ink and Very Vanilla card stock.  I did use a little Soft Suede ink on my blender pen and softened the tree up a bit.  Why I don't know. I think that is what ruined the look of the tree.

I did use the piercing tool and the guide to make the holes on the two corners.  It's nice now and then to dig out some of the stuff you own and use it!!! LOL

I used the circle scallop punch and the 1-3/8" circle punch.  The words are from my computer.  I do not know what the font is or what size the font is.  I printed them a while ago.  I just typed up the words and printed them out on scrap copier paper and I hold the negative piece of card stock from the 1-1/4" and 1-3/8"" circle punch over the words and see if they fit or if they need any adjusting.  Once I get the words to fit, I copy and past them on my screen in 4 columns and then I print it out on white and vanilla card stock.  I save the page to a file of other events and holidays so anytime I need some words quick I have them. on hand.  I do sell these in my web store.  You can print out as many copies as you like, they are in a PDF file.  There are 10 different greetings (10 sheets of different greetings).  All you do is print, the measuring is done for you.  I like to have them on hand to put together quick cards or when I'm making a bunch of cards.  They come in handy.

I do thank you for stopping by today, and for bearing with me on this not so interesting or exciting card!!! LOL
