Frankenstein Fry Box Candy Holder Weekend Project

After seeing a cute Frankenstein fry box on "Stamp & Scrap with Frenchie" I thought I would try one.  I did not invest in the Stampin' Up! fry box die because I already had one.  I just couldn't justify spending the money on another one.  I have not used mine in while.  Another reason not to buy another one!!  Mine is shaped a little bit different than the Stampin' Up! one but you can make it work.

I used Old Olive card stock to make the fry box.  I used a 1" circle punch for the eyeball and a 1/2" circle punch for the center.  I took the Real Red marker and drew in the bloodshot lines.  I then added the black centers.  The eyelid is a 1" circle punched from Old Olive and cut in half.  I sponged the edges of the Old Olive on the eyes after I assembled them.

The nose is a 1-1/4" circle of Old Olive and I sponged the edges before assembling the face.  Glue down the nose first, then the eyes.  That way you can tell where to put the mouth and the scar.  I did not add the bolts sticking out. They would just get bent or hung up on something.  I added a 1/2" silver circle to each side of the box.

Fill it with candy and give it to your favorite someone!!! I'm not sure who I am going to give this one too.

These are very easy and fun to make.  I would say, from start to finish, that I had this complete in under 20 minutes!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

Hi Wanda!!! I love the Frankenstein Box. Very cute idea. I never ordered it. I have so much I don't use and so much I still want but I can NOT spend money on craft stuff at this time due to other obligations like Health Med. and things... It sure does break my heart thou. But I love seeing ALL the things being made. Keep up the GREAT work...
