A Wetlands Work of Art Masculine Birthday

My card today was inspired from a card made by Lisa at "Add Ink and Stamp."  I frequently stalk her blog!!!  I loved how the sky looked with goose so I had to give it a try.  I didn't have the feather stamp that Lisa used but I did have the decorative paper but I opted not to use it.

I first stamped the goose and then the sky.  I liked what I saw, it was exactly how I imagined it turning out.  Since I wasn't going to add the decorative paper or the feathers, I thought I needed to go in another direction with this.  So I just trimmed up my card stock and added a Basic Gray layer behind it.  I did not make the base of the card Pool Party, I used Whisper White but I did add a Pool Party layer.  And I added the Baked Brown Sugar image (stamped off once) to the ground area.

Now for the words.  I needed to fill that bottom right space so I punched out a Basic Gray round scallop and a 1-3/8" Pool Party circle.  The words are from my computer and I punched them out using the 1-1/4" circle punch.  I layered them all together and set them in place using Dimensionals.

It's a very simple card to make.  I'm still in awe of the sky!!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
