A Traveler Masculine Birthday Card

I found this fun card at "Try Stampin' on Tuesday."  I do know that it is Thursday but I thought I would break protocol and try it today!!! LOL  I'm daring like that.  I have been known to remove those so not remove tags from my mattress too!!!  I know..... living on the edge!!! LOL

Today's card was very fun and easy to make.  I did struggle a bit with the panels.  I didn't have a pattern to go by so I just cut the piece of decorative paper 3/8" less than I needed so I could set them in place and have plenty of room for the space in between. I did have to retrim, it's better to cut it too long than too short!  My top panels measure 1-3/4" x 3-1/4".  And the bottom panel measures 1-1/2" x 3-5/8".  There, you have the measurements, so it should be easier for you to whip up a bunch of these cards!!!

The image here is from the "Traveler" set.  I still have one more fun train card I want to make.  I need to find a layout I like so I can make the card.  I've been sitting on this fun saying for a long time and I can't wait to print it out on the computer and use it on the card!!!  Maybe I'll work on that later in the week!  I am also working on a fun 3D project to share with you too.  So much going on here!  I need to focus on just one hobby.  Maybe in the next lifetime!!!  LOL

I should tell you my colors here as well.  I used Chocolate Chip card stock, ink, and decorative paper.  I also used Whisper White card stock.  The words were done on my computer.  I feel that Stampin' Up! needs to have more words that fit in these punches!!  But doing them on the computer is the next best thing, right?

This was a fun card and I can see myself making more of them!  Oh and bonus here, it's a perfect masculine card, isn't it?

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
