Petite Petals Shadow Box Technique

This is one of the techniques that Terri had demonstrated at her Tuesday Technique Night for her downline.  I had never done that technique before and I was actually able to play that night.  One of the gals had to make three sets of the cards and technique card and I helped her out!  So I got to have a hands on experience that night.  It was fun!

It's an easy technique too.  A few folds on a 4" x 4" piece of decorative paper and you are done.

You take the decorative paper and you fold it in half and then in half again. Then you unfold it and fold each corner to the center.  Then you take those tips and fold them back so the tips are just on the edge of the fold.  Just look at the photo and think backwards!!!   See the lighter color folded pieced.  Those are the ones that the tip folds back to the edge of the yellow part.

Once you get the folding done you add whatever you'd like in the center.  Here we added a postage square with a Petite Petals flower and a little leaf from the owl punch.  You can add words or photos in that box if you wish.  The possibilities are only limited to the size of the inside of that box!!!

It's a fun technique.  Oh and did you notice?  No stamping???  Once in a while you have to make a card that does not require any stamping.  But you can always stamp something on the inside!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
