Flowering Flourishes Ombre Technique

Oops, I got the words a bit crooked.  But it's easy enough to fix so when I get done posting this I will tend to that.

Today I thought I would play with the Ombre Technique again.  You just pick colors that are a bit lighter than the last color and stamp them.  I started out with Raspberry Ripple on the bottom part.  Then I used the new Blackberry Bliss, followed by Elegant Eggplant, and then Wisteria Wonder.  I stamped off each color before I stamped them on my card stock.

I used a scrap piece of Wisteria Wonder card stock for the round scallop and a scrap piece of Elegant Eggplant for the layer.  And the words were done on my computer.  I set this piece in place using Dimensionals.

After seeing it done I wished I would have gone with the blue Ombre colors instead.  Anyway, after I stamped the colors I then stamped the Flowering Flourishes image using black StazOn ink.  I added some pearls to the card.

It wasn't a difficult card to make but like I said, I think I would have liked the blue colors better.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
